Tour of the Beacon

Toured the Beacon recently. Looks like a fantastic place to play. Great outlook onto the River Clyde. Nice large stage in the main theatre...and the Studio looks like it will be well equipped. Hopefully we'll get to play there in future.

Hi all...another year, but no Spring show! Ouch. Unfortunately, the new Beacon is out of our price range just now. We could just about sustain a loss on each show in the Wallace Bennett Theatre; but the new rates at the Beacon make playing there impossible. It's a wonderful facility, so hopefully we'll play there one day. Until then you will find us trying out other venues around the West of Scotland. Watch this space. Speak soon.

Well folks...that's it all over. Ended on a bad note Saturday with a major lighting problem. However, the cast and crew stuck to their task and got thought it; with a really good performance too.

Another good practice. Only a few weeks to go. Prompter Kerry arrvied tonight and...a lot of folks know a lot of lines! That is good eh ? Banners went up today, all the posters are out and programme all the way. So let's hope people come and see it.

We're Back !!! The Rise and Fall of Little Voice

Wed 17th August and the cast of LV make their first appearance. Late change of practice venue saw the cast move to the Guild for 2 hours of Act One of The Rise and Fall of Little Voice. Thanks to all who attended ! ( No LV as she was on her Duke of Edinburgh Award trek in the borders of Scotland ). Looks like it's all going to be good fun.
