LV cast is set...Claire Scott now added to play Sade. Thanks Claire! Now all we have to do is fit it all into the Wally B!
Couple of options with the set up...guess Andy and I will have to measure it all up again! Then we need to pick the correct LV songs for LV to sing....busy summer I think.

After a very lengthy reading process Amerikana Theatre Company are proud to announce they will perform The Rise and Fall of Little Voice by Jim Cartwright. Performance will take place in the Wallace Bennett Theatre, Greenock from 26th to 29th October 2011. Audition details to be announced shortly.

Due to the impending switch to the New Beacon Arts Centre, the Greenock Arts Guild is out of commission in 2012. Therefore Amerikana will perform this Autumn 2011 in the Arts Guild.Shows are being considered now, availability of plays, people and crew all being checked. Watch this space for news in the very near future.

Great show week.Thanks to the cast and crew for a great job.Get out took longer than usual; going all the way out to Spango Valley for the first time. Special thanks to John McP and Andy Brodie and of course Laura. Costumes all returned (except Le Donc's ) and now back to play reading. Will announce something in a week or two I hope! Standby. Oh and quite a few people have asked about the music for the play - so I'll post it on our site. Thanks to our audience for attending. Speak soon..

OFOTCN get in over. Big thanks to John and Andy for 'nailing' it all together. Cast practiced in room 6 while the crew...Andy and John...did the biz. Big thanks to Greg W. for the van. So tomorrow...more Magnolia paint, Black paint gauze, perspex,lock & hasp, masking tape, foliage...etc.etc.Loads to do tomorrow, another long day ahead.

Another good night tonight. Second full run. Lot's of acting going on ( don't use it all up folks ! ) and some really good set pieces taking shape. Set looked out with Andy B...and will be painted asap.All 15 flats...zzzzzzzz.Once that's done we're ready to go. Get in week on Sunday and we're off.BTW only 14 tickets left for Thursday.
